League InformationEducational Fund
Established in 1980, The League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Columbus Educational Fund (LWVMCEF) is a 501(c)(3) citizen education and research organization. The League’s Education Fund:
- supports the impartial study of major public issues
- promotes citizen education activities
- registers voters
- publishes nonpartisan voter information and voter guides
- provides civic information to the public
As such, the Educational Fund supports the major activities of the League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Columbus, from the Voter Information Bulletin to the Central Ohio Civic Directory to the candidate forums. Though a separate organization, the Educational Fund is governed by the League’s board of trustees and shares staff with the League.
