Ohio ranks close to bottom in alternative energy

According to an updated renewable energy database prepared by League energy specialist Al Rosenfield, Ohio continues to lag the nation in alternative energy.
Nationally, on average, seven percent of electricity comes from renewable sources, but Ohio gets about one percent -- close to the bottom among states by several criteria.
