League testifies before redistricting panel
Thursday, Jul. 21, 2011
Beth Taggart testified yesterday on behalf of the League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Columbus before the Ohio House State Government and Elections Subcommittee on Redistricting and the Ohio Senate Select Committee on Redistricting.
The League of Women Voters of Ohio invited the Metro League to offer testimony before the joint panel, focusing in particular on the fact that Franklin County is "cracked" into three different districts in order to benefit one party even though the county should be split into no more than two.
