About the League of Women Voters
Educational Fund
Established in 1980, the League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Columbus Educational Fund supports the charitable and educational goals of the League of Women Voters by allowing individuals to make tax-deductible contributions. The League's Educational Fund is a 501(c)(3) citizen education and research organization that:
- Supports the impartial study of major public issues
- Promotes citizen education activities
- Registers voters
- Publishes nonpartisan voter information and voter guides
- Provides civic information to the public
As such, the Educational Fund supports the major activities of the League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Columbus, from the Voter Information Bulletin, to the Central Ohio Civic Directory, to candidate forums. Although a separate organization, the Educational Fund is governed by the Metro Columbus League’s Board of Trustees and shares its staff.
To help us continue these invaluable civic education projects, make a tax-deductible contribution to the League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Columbus Educational Fund.
